Nigel was very approachable and gave us a thorough appraisal and accurate quote for the work required. The 1940s suite needed a lot of work but was completed to a very high standard and excellent attention to detail and the final result was outstanding. Nigel literally went the extra mile for us.

We have had several pieces of furniture completely worked over by Nigel including a very old rolled end couch which he had to take right back to the bones.  His work is "Old School", no short cuts or new age techniques, and the completed pieces reflect a work of passion and art, from the springs to the fabric-ready to go another fifty years.

We have found Nigel’s workmanship is of a high standard, very thorough, neat, quick response. His quotes never have extras added after the work is completed. We have used him over a number of years for the restoration of family heirlooms including couches, chairs and a footstool. He keeps the upholstery in keeping with the design and age of the furniture.
